Hydrogen-assisted combustion, produced on demand
The HYMIX™ system uses distilled water to produce hydrogen and oxygen on board. The gas is used immediately — nothing is stored — and mixes with intake air for more complete combustion.

Power supply
The unit draws low-voltage power from the vehicle's electrical system.

Hydrogen generation
A submerged P.E.M. stack produces hydrogen and oxygen from distilled water and sends it straight to the air intake.

Mixing
Hydrogen and oxygen mix with incoming air in the intake before entering the engine.

Complete combustion
More complete combustion in the engine reduces smoke and harmful exhaust pollutants.

Submerged P.E.M. stack
At the heart of every HYMIX™ system is a patented submerged polymer electrolyte membrane (P.E.M.) stack. Hydrogen and oxygen are produced separately at the membrane electrodes from distilled water — with no separate purification or compression equipment.
